I wouldn't do injections for the dose of Test you need. My wife has high estrogen and low testosterone, progesterone and DHEA. She uses a compounded cream every morning it and it has done great things for her energy, emotional swings and libido. She is very happy.

Since you are talking about Test only, I don't think that won't effect your use of hormonal birth control but you might want to triple check.

If a true HRT, I don't think it would affect her menstrual cycle.
But the dose that her doc suggested would probably stop down her menstrual cycle entirely (as is commonplace for women using male hormones).

Jeez, I didn't notice the doctor's goal until I saw your comment and scrolled up to reread.

My wife's levels were in the teens as well, but the doctor wants her around 100 max. Not hijacking, just comparing notes.
