    roommates suck

Oh where can I start. My roommate shovels down supplements and then likes to go get drunk and eat hot wings for breakfast and wonders why he sees no results. He doesn't push himself on his workouts and then he is a complete asshole when i'm talking to others about working out and supplements, when i'm trying to give them real advice. Gotta find a place to vent haha. Anybody else got shit roommates?

Yeah roomies can suck. Just ignore him, but I guess it's tough if you share the same friends.

Some people think they know shit, when they don't. No matter what you try to convey to these people they just won't understand, or admit that they are less knowledgable than you are. Nothing you can do but shrug it off.

Sounds like your roomie just sees things differently... nothing wrong with it, but at least he's into fitness somewhat.

Give up, I have known many people like this and they will never listen or learn. It's all part of life. No matter how much you know/like someone it all changes when you live together. Find more ways to avoid him and have alone time/space. That will help.

Yeah just ignore him or humor him. Show you people you know more than him by being twice his size and leaner.

let your results do the talking. when he realizes that his thighs are the same size as your arms, he'll ask for help and start listening.

College food can be very healthy/good. We always had cold cuts, salads, eggs done your way for breakfast and cottage cheese. Plus a lot of the main food was grilled chicken and steaks, every now and then we had random garbage but I ate well at my original college.

They had a restaurant/grill place at the dorms of my old univ. That place you could get decent food at. But on campus, there was fast food everywhere. We all had stoves, refrigerators and microwaves in our dorms so there was no excuse to not eat right.

You are lucky to have "roommates". when i lived in korea, we lived in quansat huts left over from the korean war, designed to be temporary housing. push on one wall, and it seperated at the corner from the other wall, letting daylight in. housed a dozen or so. dudes would bring their "women" in, no walls, just wall lockers for some privacy, and then fuk the shiit outta them all night on drugs. and i had to listen to that crap, and the loud music. took me two months to find me a yobo and move out.

Dont worry about him. Just remember the reason that you have a roommate. So you have more money to buy your supplements.

How many more weeks do you have left in AIT?

I would never do the military thing married. It really puts stress on marriages. Plus if you get sent to some place like Korea, you're not going to have any fun at all.

Dude, if they deploy you, make sure you control all of your wife's finances. In fact, you should be in control of them right now. You might want to listen to the horror stories of all the guys who went to Iraq and Afghanistan, only to find out their wife spent every dime they had and cheated on them.

    i was in 6 years.

mos = 62b (nothing special - actually it was a horrible pic for me, and regretted it almost from day one) - construction equipment mechanic - aka "combat engineer"

not to dis on my mates that had the same job as me, bbut some of the "least book smart" individuals I've ever known were in that mos. I 99% aced the asvab, and could have done anything. aced the first part of the DLAB, then figured out it was in communications working in embassies, so i sabotaged the second half of the test. company commander didn't knjow what to do with me, always getting in trouble, so he made me the company clerk.....?

^^^ Agreed. Best way to ruin a friendship is to live with your friend.

It's best to get roommates and tenants who you aren't friends with. Friends will always take advantage of your friendship and be late with the rent or cause damage. "You know I'm good for it."
