    What makes your summer?

For me it's Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Great beaches, bars, and people. My family typically rents a house right off the bay. During the day I bake on the dock with cold beer and crab. It's not uncommon to get 6-10 jumbo blue crabs an hour. After a few hours I take refuge in the AC for some lunch and a nap, wake up hit the bars within walking distance, come home pass out, wake up hungover, crack a cold one, and head down the dock to start the process again.

For me it's just going out to a lake (usually Lake Mead right now) and just going fishing for a few hours. Maybe take a nap on the boat in the sun.

Its cliche but me and a couple of my boys living the lifestyle will hit the gym then the beach then shower and put on our best and hit the clubs. I'm worried those days are coming to an end with my friend pretty much the lion of the group getting married

Warm enough I can take the jet skis out atleast 4 or 5 times, enough time off to take a couple trips to the sand dunes for a few days to ride the ATV's and be in good enough shape to take the shirt off and have people take a 2nd look but I'm not sure about this summer.

Jet skis are actually a great work out. It's pretty challenging to ride hard for more than 20-30 mins.

hahahahaha Not anymore with all the fat boy/stand up skis. On a real jetski like I use to have/ride before the family that was a workout. Good old stand up skis. Best place to ride was/is the ocean.

Yeah those are me on my good ole Kawi 650. I still take my sit down/fat boy skis out to the ocean and ride the surf like that but it's not nearly as challenging.

I love summer!! BBQ, Blues & Brews fest in Reno fantastic! Times Roman, Im going to try & hit Street Vibrations this year, never went. Camping once or twice, taking the quad out, water, grilling & smoking (which I did 2 chickens & an awesome pork roast yesterday) everything about summer, except on 108* days is awesome..............and lots of beautiful women, BTW I work at a college, mostly scanks but it does seem at times that its "clothing optional"

It is a blast, even on the fat boy skis it's fun but can be dangerous also. Those pictures are taken in about 3 feet of water just where the surf was breaking so I could get more air but its easy to get caught in the curl and have the ski roll over you. I even beached my fat boy ski once and then some rouge waves came in and threw it another 20 ft up the beach onto some rocks almost pinning me and put a large gash on the bottom. It took me a good 30 minutes to get it back into the water. I though I might have to abandon it at one point but luckily make it out and made a 10 min run to the launching point hoping it would not take on to much water on the way. lol The ocean is an unforgiving place.

That Lake is really coming back and has been kicking out the smallies lately to. I have tournament fished that lake since the early 90's and its seriously rebounding right now

The striped bass in that lake is really good right now. That's what I've mostly been catching. This time of year though those fish are hanging out most of the day in the deeper water. I don't tournament fish, I just like to enjoy the day out there relaxing with some friends, maybe catching a nap and BBQing. It's always the simple things like that which make life worth living for.

But yeah they've been doing a good job restocking that lake and Lake Mojave.
