I would just put them in your checked baggage is you want to take them home, will your flight from BKK be direct to the US or will you have to change planes in Korea or Japan, Hawaii etc?

I haven't booked the ticket yet, but I think Korean air is the cheapest. Probably transfer in seoul.

I would just put whatever you have in your checked baggage, US Customs & the USDA agents are only looking for Narcotics and banned food items. Dogs cant detect aas as they arent trained to do so.

You will be fine, Just try to forget about it when you arrive back in the US. Nervousness is an automatic indicator to US Customs, and if they suspect anything from you, they will search your bags.
