I get the feeling of wellbeing when I inject hCG IM whereas I don't when I inject it subq. I always use a 30g 1/2 inch dart into my delts for hCG. I have very low fat in the delts so i'm sure it is going IM. Actually a lot guys i've chatted with over the years have experienced the same from IM hCG shots. In the leaflet that comes in the box of Pregnyl it specifically states that it should be injected IM. I don't necessarily agree with this. I've shot it subq and think it works but i think subq probably slows down its release. I actually read a study about 5 years ago comparing subq and IM administration of Pregnyl which found better bioavailability via the IM route. I will have to dig it up.
