Problems with barrels

Anyone ever had issues with the pin barrel sticking once you draw the gear?

It's a fvck1ng nightmare. You draw the AS then as soon as you start to push the air out its starts to stick. No smooth action and what's worse,,,,,,,,aspiration is nearly impossible!!!!!!!you can't even be sure you've pushed all the air out in the first place either.

I've had this before with different AS so it isn't the viscosity of the gear that's the issue.

Any thoughts??

Yeah I have. Change brands. I have had to sort of lube the syringe by pushing/pulling the plunger back and forth a few times and/or just pushing hard and steady when injecting. yeah it sucks.

do u prep your syringe? just pump it the plunger back n forth 10 times before you draw

I've had problems with plunger sticking with no name brand syringes. When I started buying name brand syringes I never had any problems with sticking.

I have had it before where after i push some air into the vial, I start to draw and air wants to push the thing right out the end. I dont know if I pushed too much air into the vial or whats happening. Lol. The couple times it happened, i just forced the bit of oil back into vial and got a new syringe. I wouldnt worry about the little bit of air that you dont think you are getting out.

I bought some crappy syringes in Afghanisttan that did as you describe.

Just toss what you have and get some more here

I use BD syringes or EXEL int. And I prep as stated above. No more problems.

I've always used BD or Terumo. No problems but the Terumo brand seemed to have sharper points.

^i also agree with terumo seem sharper. i also like the feel of the plunger with terumo vs bd. seems to feel smoother n less sticky

Does your gear contain a shitload of EO (ethyl oleate)? Because that stuff melts certain rubbers and plastics, so it causes plungers to stick in high concentrations.

I have no idea mate but it sounds plausible. I'm using Terumo as I always have done, but never had these problems before. I'm using test e and deca.

I've just tried a barrel filled with water and it works fine! Which means it may well be the rubber degrading when I draw the gear!!!!!!!!

Yep, I do exactly that. Kinda thinking now that it may actually be the gear as Bonaparte eluded to.
