Yes a 22g is gonna hurt, 25 or 27g like kelkel said.

22g 1.5 inch for me. Glutes. Never used any thing other however the last time I pinned I used a new pin (different pin then I drew with) and it was much better. I'm going to go get some
25g ones today though and try that out.

As for drawing with an 18, 19, 20 etc does it really make a difference with gauge you use to draw with?

i have always heard to draw with a 18g .... but i have no problem drawing with a 21g. just takes a little longer i guess.
