For anyone having trouble with steroid-induced acne, or anyone considering using Accutane, please read this thread I wrote yesterday and has already been buried: http://forums.steroid.com/showthread....#.UEPjVGt5mSM

Also, to respond to other poster's comments about Accutane's side effects, most of these people have not even taken the drug and are just reporting side effects they've heard of. While I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than recalcitrant, severe acne that has not responded to other treatments, I can personally attest to the fact that the side effects are not that bad and are all manageable with lip gloss, moisturizer, and vitamin e. As far as gastrointestinal side effects, people who have suffered from these particularly nasty sides were generally individuals who already had IBS or another gastro problem. If they did not at the time, they were probably young and the gastro problems had not yet manifested, so that the Accutane simply triggered an underlying condition. Nonetheless, read the article I posted, and you probably won't have to consider taking Accutane.

    Hope this is helpful

    Well that fvck for this,

It is genuinely the first ever thread regarding accutane where the sides havnt been blown out of all porportion by people who just parrit bullshit and havnt even used the stuff

and whoever mentioned liver protection, if it milk thistle or liv52 you had in mind then dont bother, you may as well eat skittles

I was on 80mg a day at 14 years of age, bi-weekly bloodwork due to high dose at young age, my liver values idi SLIGHTLY raise, but they were still well within the normal ranges
