It's usually good to get in the habit of donating blood while on HRT, as RBC and hematocrit levels increase. I've noticed my BP got a little better when I started doing it on a regular basis.

As TR stated, sodium intake needs to be regulated, exercise needs to be in play, and you should avoid alcohol consumption, especially if you're taking any medications that could be stressing your liver.

Please tell us your stats and little more about yourself ... Thanks
Huh? Prostate exam? Checking for an enlarged prostate? Im due for my bloodwork the first week in October. I will have the Doc check all these. I have been on Androgel 1.62% for almost 4 weeks. I looked up the most common side effects for this and high blood pressure and mood swings were numbers 1 and 2. I have both. I have been doing a lot of cardio, thought that would lower it. A lot of stress at work. I will get my BP checked tomorrow. If its still high i will have to move up my appt. I have no reason to take cialis, if the wind blows the right way i go from 6 to 12. Thanks for the replies fellas.

Yes, prostate exam! Any doctor in the know will check your prostate prior to going on HRT, then at the first round of checkups. Testosterone can play havoc on a troubled prostate, so most docs will want to know that there's no prostate problems going into therapy, and double check it the first round.

And your answer about Cialis is just an ego statement! You wanted legit answers and you got them. Do some research on PDE-5 inhibitor therapy, such as a 'small' dose of cialis, complimented with doxacard, and educate yourself on the benefits it can have with helping on BP.
