^^ Yes. Very much. Been setting it up. lighter, thinner, faster. All around improvements.
Let me know how the wifi strength is. My 3GS was fantastic, but 4s was pathetic in comparison.
wifi works great. loaded cnn.com in less than a second. Still havent tested the new LTE network, supposed to be super fast, you can facetime without wifi.
I just hope there are no cliches in it. Maybe they worked all the kinks out.Originally Posted by austinite
Everything new will have issues. But in this day and age, that's the beauty of update-able software.
Would it be tacky to have the new iPhone, and set the ring tone to "like a G6"?
^ yes.
Who got the phone and how is it?
Checked it out yesterday. . . . Nothing too amazing. Just saying, I been really desensitized from the phone craze after dealing them for a while.
Just my HD2 gotten old. Went to T-Mobile and got a GS3. Pretty cool phone, quick and works pretty well. A bigger screen than this just not necessary. I was thinking of getting the Note2 when it comes out in a month or 2, but it is just plain out too big.
Funny part is, even when I was hustling iPhones all day I would use my HD2. Every once in a while people would ask me why do you use that old ass phone, my response was I don't know anything about iPhones and they are too complicated for me
The truth is, I can do damn near twice as much on my old ass HD2 as any iPhone. The true things that no manufacturer will on Apple is their refinement of the product and graphic quality. Which gives them the ability to have awesome arcade style games. . . . Which I have to do without. But, shit I can just get a iPod touch for a 80 bux all day long and use it just for that. Or, just use my PSP.
I will probably not get it because it's too big. Shame tho, I'm apple 100% ... guess I'll get a 4sOriginally Posted by Phased
Matter of opinion i guess. I like it when I don't know it's in my pocket. Anything bigger than 3GS seems bulky IMO. Even the 4 & 4s are a bit abrasive for me.Originally Posted by < <Samson> >

Specifically, the iPhone 5 will be unable to handle simultaneous voice and data use on Verizon Wireless and Sprint versions of the device. This is due to a limitation in the CDMA specification that those two networks use. However, some 4G LTE smartphones on the Verizon network will allow users to make voice calls and use data connectivity at the same time. The iPhone 5 is unable to do this due to design decisions that Apple made
So isn't it worthless if you have Verizon then?
but not everyone talk on the phone and surf the internet at the same time...
X2 this. Doesn't bother meOriginally Posted by asiandude

its funny how apple keeps rapin ppl for money for virtually the same device over and OVER again a ppl keep buyn....just now updated to 4g network has a bigger screen but still falls short of other phones screens....and oh it made outa GLASS....one drop and ur done....ill take plastic over glass anyday....used to work for at&t for years....and had anyone questioned the fact the apple is supposed to have GOOGLE maps on it....
Apple is not a non-profit. Any business would only dream of accomplishing what apple has.
Why is apple supposed to have google maps? Compared to the new TomTom, the new app is far more user-friendly. But at the end of the day, we all have the freedom of choice, and that's a beautiful thing![]()
true they are in the business of making money....I guess I shoulda said why do ppl keep Payn for virtually the same device....that was my question though....why are they supposed to have Google maps o. the device when Google is android....but to each their ownOriginally Posted by austinite

I'm debating going over to the dark side for the 1st time. I have had my droid razor for over 2 years, almost 3 and have been less than happy with it most of the time. Replaced 3x, freezes, SLOW response and many other things.
I hate that apple does not have a micro SD slot though. If it did that would an easier choice.
