Estrogen's tend to increase SHBG production while androgen's tend to decrease it's production.
For starters making sure the Thyroid is functioning at optimal levels; poor performing Thyroid will see suppression in SHBG.
Supplements like Soy and Flax can raise it; but I caution men here on these two supplements as they are estrogen mimics and not what we want in our bodies...ever.
A bit OT, but you can try adding in some DHEA 50mg micronized each morning and see if that helps your anxiety...do you know your DHEA-S levels?
