Happened to me in high school. My best friend at the time broke up with his girl. A month later, she was giving me "the look" and then her friends approached me and said she liked me (high school silliness). I told my buddy about it and asked him if it would be weird for him if I dated her. He said he was cool with it if it wasn't weird for me or her. I dated her for about a year without problems.
