WTF!!! My legs are at least your size, probably bigger TBH... yet I can't touch a 500lb squat. Just goes to show you that size doesn't always equate to strength, and vice versa
(no offense). However, it could also have a lot to do with core and back strength/stability. But damnit, I'd like to hit a 500lb squat!! Ok, now you have me motivated. I'm gonna get there!
