Actually NO. There are a couple of good threads on that as well. Fatman had a pretty intense turn around while using gear and doing IF. GBrice has used it several times. I went from 23% bf to 15% in about 2 1/2-3 months while doing IF. Gains in the gym were steady while not using gear. No muscle loss.Originally Posted by Atomini
I will entertain this carb cycling in February I think it a great tool. Most of my BB/stage show guys that I'm buddies with use this method for their insane cuts before a show.

also id like to note (in reference to ur question above) im fasting 11hrs EOD (after waking so approx 20hrs total) and am seeing no muscle loss.
well technically what im doing now is ADF (alternate day fasting) and not IF. however i did not lose any muscle on the carb cycle either. personally i am seeing better results (leaner) with the ADF than the carb cycle.
the carb cycle is good IMO and many have great success with it and i actually cycle carbs as well as fast.. the type of carb cycle i did before was a glycogen depletion carb cycle which would not have worked under the same conditions as this article above.
personally i think i have found the new improved method of diet for myself. am still only in week 5 so itll be a little while before i can say without question but i am leaner now than ive been ever and get to eat 3500cals + 350g carbs EOD.
also i am getting stronger while losing fat and weight..
