I have a clinic in Southern California specializing in infectious disease. A vast majority of patients are in clinic for hepatitis C and AIDS. I'm sure many of them would tell you a very different story about STDs and jumping without a parachute, so to speak.

I have a family member who's HIV positive because of someone who never got tested. You could be carrying HIV, and spreading it to people you sleep with. This isn't harsh enough. In my opinion, if you can't take the 5 seconds to wrap up for OTHERS protection, you should be completely castrated.

Ever see someone in the late stages of AIDS? clearly not.

I have a friend that found out he was positive 26 years ago (when I was 18) and I learned a lot from that experience. He is still healthy with the help of meds (bless the people that developed with those meds) but back then everyone thought it was a death sentence and we all appropriately freaked out.

That might be one of the reasons I am so paranoid and why I worked hard to protect others.
