T3 isnt going to mess you up.That is only a rumor started by people who dont know wat they are talking about.Read the profile section. They will explain how that rumor started.
I've read things stating that after t3 use is stopped, your normal thyroid function will eventually recover in a matter of weeks. Now I'm referring to small doses so help maintain normal function of the thyroid while on tren. I was thinking of dosing 50mcg eod. Songdog in your opinion, do you think this will help while on cycle?
It's been documented that high FT3 levels from Thyroid meds such as T3 (cytomel) can lead to cardiac arythmia as well as a number of vitamin and mineral dificiencies that can be linked to osteoporosis.
I would call that messing you up? Not to say that any and all of the things we do can't but is there enough added advantage of taking high doses of thyroid meds to make it worth the risks?
What are you looking for...a few pounds of weight loss. Eat less and run more!
Honestly this thread sent me into research mode myself. I have not been able to find anything to support my earlier belief that permenent thyroid damage can occur from use. On the contrary everything I have found said that the thyroid will bounce back after using T3 even for extended amounts of time.
While digging is when I learned of the cardiac risks especially when running higher BB type doses for fat loss purposes. Osteoporosis hasn't been linked directly to the use of T3 but more to the vitamin and mineral deficiencies caused by T3 use. Like Austin pointed out it would be important to supplement during use. I believe Magnesium and something els...I can't recall!
There are a couple of good T3 threads on this site if you do a search, but to my (limited) knowledge the worst T3 could do to you is shutdown your thyroid for good (bye bye metabolism). I think your body naturally produces something like 25mcg of T3 normally each day....so it stands to reason that if your thyroid did stay shut down you could just take 25mcg of T3 every day for the rest of your life.
Keep in mind I am not anywhere close to an expert on T3, and the information I am providing is partially from threads I have read on this site, and partially from pure speculation. I'm sure a little research on google could help answer your question though.
