THANK YOU... someone is at least realistic.... and I am with you on those numbers. How the fvck a cycle of Test C and Tren gives people this magical "I'm 7%" attitude is beyond me. I'm still waiting to find someone other than me that knows what hydrochlorothyizide is...... uh duh.
Anyone under 10 is full of shit! These are the same people that "lose" fat. YOU CANNOT LOSE FAT WITHOUT SURGERY! You can only shrink fat cells. On cycle- even worse cause you're replacing fat with water!. Do some research... once you have fat- you DO NOT LOSE IT... it shrinks. People being at 8% is a myth for most. You can only be 8% if you've never had more than 8%. IF 99% of the members on this forum, both on and off cycle went and did a full body scan.... they'd be sadly disappointed to find out they are hovering over 15%. This myth of seeing abs has got to get squashed. "I see abs- therefore I'm 7%" is absolute bullshit. I have abs- I'm near 20%!!!!

No- I'm tired of dudes coming on here claiming to be 5' "something" and weighing in at 200 lbs @ 7-8% body fat after some creatine, chicken, a muscle milk, some Anavar tabs, and 6 months in the gym....
Best guess: TOTAL body fat around 6-8ish %. That would include all adipose tissue.
However... I HIGHLY doubt you maintain that year round and got therefrom a single cycle of whatever......
There is adipose tissue (white or brown fat cells) in bone, in between muscle fibers, etc. Furthermore- once you have a fat cell; you always have it. It doesn't burn off; it shrinks. BOD POD uses air displacement to calculate body mass; how does air displacement discover how much of your bone marrow has fat? How does it calculate fat cells between muscle fibers?
As I stated- 10%. You're 9% is probably accurate EXCLUDING fat in bone marrow and such; which then puts you probably at 10% at least depending on your skeletal structure.
Then you would be tempted to buy me an $800 coat and I wouldn't feel right about it
Dude...get out of the lounge and spend a solid week in Q&A fielding questions...then bitch to me about ppl saying stupid shyt! Most ppl guess and have no clue. I figure I'm somewhere in the 20% neighborhood but I might be way off! Frankly I don't care! I know what my goal is and it's not based on a BF% number. Again...405 loves the bod pod. How true the measurment is, who knows. But it gives him a scale to use. He can see what kind of improvements he is making!
Honestly Dan, you have been lementing over this same subject for days and I am not sure why it is soooo friggin important to you!
AND... after spending 16+ years in the gym busting my ass; I'll be damned if I'm gonna keep my mouth shut when some 20 year old dude the same height as me comes in claiming to be 15+ pounds more than me at 8% body fat off one cycle.....I'm gonna call bullshit every time....
Yes- your BodPod shows 9.9% body fat.
How accurate is it? If each test is performed correctly according to the recommended guidelines, there is a ± 3% error. According to McCrory, et al.*, the Bod pod has a validity of r = .93 using hydrostatic weighing as the criterion measure. * Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, 27(12): 1686-1691, 1995.
HOWEVER.... it also does not calculate bone mineral density therefore you can easily be 0.1% over by the fat in bone marrow....
Dan for the win...![]()
That's possible but only because you have more than 1,000 posts....Originally Posted by --->>405<<---;6326***

Its an accurate statement. Once your body increases in fat cell count; you always keep those fat cells. If you were 35% body fat at any point in your life; you still have the same cell count. When you "burn fat" essentially what you are doing is shrinking the fat cells but they don't disappear. When running certain anabolics.... those same fat cells start to retain water instead of fat.
You're 7 or 8%? Post pics- I call bullshit.
