Bigmike...think about it buddy. You obviously have been on a coloric defiecent diet to have lost 40lbs. Congratz again by the way. Muscle needs to be fed. It has to be fed to grow and then it needs to be fed to be sustained. Dropping the weight you have is not possible if you are trying to build alot of muscle and vise versa.

Worry about getting down to where you want to be...then bump your clean diet up in cals and start putting on the muscle. Don't stop lifting by any means as you want to maintain as much as possible through your cut!

Very solid advice and thank you, it does feel great to have lost that much weight thus far. But noone has really answered my initial question about my dr and future testosterone levels. I think I'm starting to get my own idea though. Thinking I should just take it as prescribed over the next two months and try to hit my remaining weight loss goal and then once I've done both that and been retested by doc go about acquiring additional gear from my outside source in addition to my prescription. Sound about right? Thanks again everyone for making me feel welcomed here and for the advice.

The answer you seek is within your reach...just look within your question

Yes! Concentrate on getting your TRT squared away with your doc FIRST. When he has you at the desired level and youi have shed the un wanted fat...then consider a cycle.

In the mean time..check out our nutrition forum for further assistance in hitting your goals and by all means, stick around and read and learn! best of luck!
