    You can incorporate oats, quinoa, sweet potatoes, white rice, couscous and lentils as for complex carbs to your diet.

    As for quality protein; red meat of any kind (lamb, beef, bison, dear), turkey as an alternative to chicken, pretty much any fish but preferably oily fish such as salmon and various seafood, let's not forget eggs since they are cheap, easy to digest and have the highest biological value of all protein sources.

    Do you drink shakes?

    thanks this is good info, and yeah i have a shake after i train in the morning, and one before bed!!
