As a clinician specializing in neuropsychiatry, this is a very unorthodox and reckless approach. While it is true that hormones serve a role in regulating mood, many psycho-emotional maladies are either a result of neurotransmitter or cognitive-behavioral dysfunctions (or a combination of each). Interventional endocrinology is not an approved method of treating emotional disorders and the risks would certainly outweigh any perceived benefits.
