My physician was telling me the electronic BP monitors typically read BP falsely high. He switched his office back to the old manual syphygmometer.

Ive also heard this but its still better then nothing i check my bp before i start and then usually evey few days throughout so ill still see a diference if it goes up

Yeah, I agree it's better than nothing, but I wouldnt be too alarmed if you're reading a little high. If you're showing in the 140s or higher, I'd definitely look in to it more.
