Your saying you both are gonna run 22 weeks total. That seems like a long time to me. But I am stil a newb. From what I understand test is test and doesn't really matter if you switch esters. So in essence you are both gonna to be doing a similar plan.

Ive seen some not cycle off for years. not uncommon from my experience especially when its one compound. I dont think i would run a long cycle on multiple compounds.

Ive seen and have run SUST and test at the same time, the test was to stabilize the ups and downs though. but to run a test and than go into sustanon ive never seen, ive tried explaining the ups and downs of sustanon to him, but he wont listen. I think thats why he is going to pin every 3-4 days.
