No, Sauce should be fully brescribe by physicians just like they do with Phentermine for weight loss.
Life would just be so much easier.
As far as actors go, they have the best of everything.

They are prescribed but not for aesthetics. Being overweight is a health concern, being built like a teenage girl is more social.
Dr's would never prescribe it for cosmetic purposes, nor should they have to. It would be like making alcohol and tobacco prescription drugs.
I'll add to the topic now.
I've known my fair share of actors, they take whatever the hell their trainer tells them to. Most of them are not well educated on the process (some are) but when they have a deadline, goal and possible multi million dollar contract on the lines they will go to the extremes to get in shape.
I know one that would wake up 3 times a night to take protein shakes and eat in order to pack on mass. He would also hit the gym at 3am, eat a full meal and go to sleep, get back up at 9 do the same then hit the gym again at 4. It takes allot of dedication, money and free time. 3 things that I don't have enough of
