The conditioning classic

The point of the competition is to improve yoursrlf beyond your previous best wherever you are in your bodybuilding career, not to abuse your body for weeks and then get it back to normal condition, you will not have improved yourself, you will be back to where you started. I say start at your best and finish even greater, you defo can't lose in that scenario. The competition is just a motivational tool to help you better yourself.

Since we're all bantering now, i have a question.

Is the event for best conditioning from the start? IOW, regardless of how fit you are at the beginning, its the most improved? Or is it the best end result?

So if you're already in very good shape (not saying i am), would it be easier for that person to come out on top? Or is it the most improved from March 15th?

this is only speculation on my part since there is no official word, but from what I understood from the first thread was most improved from the march 15 pic...

Yes, we know it is more difficult to make huge gains if you are already in tip top shape, but making decent gains from a great starting point is just as good as say someone putting on 10lb of LBM and looking good, or the same as someone dropping 20lb and looking better... It wont be "who looks best" cause for some thats not a challenge

should it go through, Im sure judging criteria will reflect all aspects of "gains"... those who have experience in BBing understand all of these concerns and again, will judge accordingly

I was trying to emphasize your point Mr Knox... Ive never been that low, but I did sit around 9 for a month before holidays. I dont like the eating thats involved, so I will sit around 12% most of the time. Currently at 15ish

Not with my Grecian holiday 2 weeks before the planned end of this comp. and I'll be bulking from about 11% for the 13 weeks.

how did you make 162? that must be seriously under your current weight

I do it all the time. I can swing +/- 20 lbs with just taking some hydrochlorothizide and doing a true "cut" to make weight. I"m normally around 180ish. Right now I'm sitting at 204 but I've been bulking for a month.
