    ^^^this is the best way IMO because the more or less you cook it determines the amount it expands/ absorbs water.

    Also not to highjack but where do you get this? I have only been able to find organic version and its like 6 bucks for something like a 16oz bag.

    Costco. I used to get the small boxes from the regular grocery stores, but I started making it my primary carb source as of recently (I used to exclusively eat oatmeal), so I am now eating it in bulk amounts. Costco as these giant bags of it that are already pre-rinsed. You don't need to rinse it with water before you cook with this particular brand, I just cook it right in the water right away and boom, done.
