Realistically texting is great especially if you're both busy. I think its fun to talk and flirt. In the beginning you're getting to know each other and feel each other out. I mean you too already hung out and did the dirty so, there's no nerves or anticipation. So at least you can make plans and feel relaxed. You already scored, you know she obviously likes you and said yes to you hanging out so you're golden... You did everything right. Just keep doing it.

I don't think you need full words for everything. I abbreviate a lot except when I am expressing my emotions.
So if you're telling her you like her or enjoy the time you spend together then I would make the effort to type it out. If you're just talking about the weather, I'm pretty sure she won't care.
Just ask her questions about herself and what she likes and incorporate it in to your next date so she knows you pay attention and sees that you like her... I honestly think you'll be fine

Well, I'm no sicko or anything. But I do it out of humor. Such as the "hamburger", "the brain", or something of that nature. I understand the male sexual anatomy is not an attractive feature for most women, however, I'am the exception, lol. But too me, I feel she would get a good laugh at my gestures.

I have one friend who is telling me to to be an asshole and I have another saying to just be myself. I have had women who respond to me when I send smileys and don't play games. I have also had women who have not gone out on a date with me because I tried that same tactic with them and they didn't like it. I have heard women say that they don't, adamantly do not like when a guy uses smiley faces in a text and that they think it is creepy.

Guys have to walk a fine line in those first few weeks/months. Some guys may text a lot and a woman may find that creepy, but yet what if he doesnt text enough and the same outcome happens. It is not that I shouldn't take your word for it, I totally believe that there are women out there who like that, maybe the majority. Maybe guys are just idiots who over think everything and try too hard to be the guy he thinks the girl wants (me). I think 405 was right all along- Just be yourself.
