Well, obviously we know that you aren't the sole authority on what's morally acceptable, and since there's probably more people who don't believe in god nowadays than ones that do I would think its pretty safe to say that society dictates as a whole what is moral and what is not.
Now, keep in mind...what's considered acceptable in Japan (selling childporn openly in many video stores, for example) may not be acceptable in America.
So now we've established that the general American populous decides what's moral and what is not within their own society (where redz is).
Have you seen the general American populous? Have you spoken with the average American? Bunch of fat, lazy, self entitled, unintelligent people with a superiority complex.....hmmm, do you really want to subscribe to the standards set by such people?
Keep in mind that not all Americans are like that...but there's enough to make me dread going back.
The moral of the story here is that everything isn't always black and white. The way they cheated on their spouses is somewhat different from your standard adultery case...one was in the middle of a divorce and the other was in an open marriage...now, do I think that this union will fail? Of course I do. More than 50% of marriages end in divorce, and almost 70% of people already divorced get divorced from their second spouse as well. That's just statistics.
