I am unable to donate here in Australia as I lived in the uk between 86 and some year, during mad cow disease or something.
However this reminds me I really need to get a blood sample taken this year, I couldn't even tell you what my blood type is :/, been meaning to get it done for a while now

I recall them asking me if i have lived in the UK in those years, and they explained the reason why exactly, clearly you have falling into that category, im sure if you didnt you would mate, must be hurt knowing you want to and you cant help.

This sounds like the best place to recruit donors then since we all willingly poke ourselves a couple times a week...hell I'll be poking myself 9 times a day here shortly and I know a few other member on the board are in the 9+ club as well.
