I personally better like casein for morning and with snack at evening.
Egg protein with snack after breakfast, and after lunch, then one with dinner.
I take whey with maltodextrin after workout.

Whey protein in body for: 2 hours
Egg protein in body for: 5 hours
Casein protein in body for: 8 hours
Maltodextrin is carbs with higher bioavailability than sugar.
