    He died of renal failure as a result of malaria. PERIOD!!!

    He did not die of malaria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! I can not expresss that enough!!!!!!!! Im his his best friend and it was kidney failure . please have respect! I have his parents coming and it's hard enough to have a burial for a person that you love no matter what the circumstances?

    Yes, he died of renal (kidney) failure, but it was the result of battling malaria as I understand it? That's what many sources are saying.

    "El Sonbaty, 47, passed away, allegedly from malaria, leading to kidney failure, this week."

    The original report I read said he had a kidney infection which lead to renal failure. Been there. It happens.
