I never said they weren't accurate, they arnt ment to measure height my friend.......
Whenever you try to measure your height with a tape measure, it will never be quite accurate. The best and most accurate way is at a medical office or hospital, anyplace that has a measuring device attached to the wall and in your bare feet.

A tape measure is made to measure increments of measurement...doesn't matter what it is. Tape measures do not discriminate against what they measure. The measuring device on the wall of the doctor's office measures the same way lol. I'm geussing he can take his shoes off at home too lol.

I will attach my tape measure to the wall to assure it is more accurate in the future

    lol.

    1. Get tape measure
    2. Stand against wall
    3. Get someone to use a flat object (ruler) and push it down flat against your head and against wall
    4. Hold ruler there, walk away
    5. Measure from the ground to the ruler
    6. Read tape measure
    7. Go back to school because where ever you went failed you miserably

I measured three times and got within 1/8" each time. I have zero reason to know my height within less than 1/8" and if you do, do it 5 times and take the average.
