    How does one become a mod??

    Just out of curiosity, how for example does one become a mod???

    Also i have noticed that people have these specific titles beside their name which are pretty cool, how does one obtain this??

    You get asked based on a lot of things but primarily by looking out for the interest of the board and it's members. We volunteer our time here to help others because we love the hobby we're into.

    You get a custom title after 3000 posts

    it's based on a variety of things.

    knowledge, willingness to help, ability to communicate, patience (not blowing a fuse at the drop of a hat), longevity (track record) - there are others

    and then, quite often, one of the staff may approach you to see if you are interested. If there is an interest, then we discuss the merits of the nomination.

    If a majority of the staff feel it is a solid nomination, then we move forward.........
