An AI such as Arimidex blocks the aromatase enzyme. Test-e and D-bol both aromatize, which can cause negative side effects such as Gynecomastia, excess water retention. SERM's or Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator, such as Nolvadex will only block the estrogen from binding and not all of it and an AI will not reduce estrogen. During PCT Arimidex is not the preferred medication. As it may hinder progression. Some estrogen is needed for tissue gains and a properly functioning body.
