    God, it irritates the shit out of me when I see the trainers at my gym give a machine that looks like a video game controller to new members. The members hold it out in front of them, and it "magically" tells them what their body fat percentage is. Shit is ridiculous.

    I've been a member for four years. They use a skin fold caliper as well.

    Do you know what type of test they use? 7-site skin fold test? 9-site? If they are able to accurately use the calipers, then 9-site skin fold tests are quite accurate. It is definitely more accurate than the machine I was talking about before.
