From the mouth of babes. You have no idea of what success means except in the terms of $$$
LOL, 50K I make well over double that, almost 3x and as far as money goes it doesn't go very far and it does not buy you happiness or success.
$500K a year would be a good start but $50K is barely above poverty level.
Success comes in a lot more ways than $$$ and they are more important. You will figirue that out in about another 25 years.
agree.
if talking purely about financial success, i think it all depends on what that person sees as successful.
High expectations can lead to feelings of unhappiness when they are not met... but if you are a happy person as long as your basic needs are met ~ more money is great but not a measure of your success.
hell as long as I am debt free and can paint/ mountain bike /kayak I feel successful money wise and thats on my sad little income lol. I know people that make a lot more money yet have crap relationships, hate there job, are so swarmed in debt its laughable and I dont see them as successful in any aspect at all
Describe "common people" pleaseOriginally Posted by Euroholic
I find this racist and offensiveOriginally Posted by Euroholic
WHAT gives you the right to define people and put them into classes
You scream and go running to admin every time someone remotely challenges or gives a snide comment about your beloved Australia yet you have the sheer front to call people for enjoying a lifestyle they are content with!!!!!!!!
Your a complete hypocrite.......... Reported
This answer has me scratching my head , to me common people are the lower class ie working class this is what the upper class called working class was common people and the Labour Party in this country supported the common working man/ woman , so is it that because you are on a high pay that people below you are common , I don't know of anyone that just settles for what they have they always strive to give there family a good standard of living just that some have to work harder than othersOriginally Posted by Euroholic
This makes me common then?Originally Posted by Euroholic
I would love 2 minutes with you alone.
I could go and earn thousands if I wanted I choose not to
Money is not the be all and end all remember that!!!!
The way you come across on this board with your terms of phrase etc you remind me of a tv character here in England
His name is frank Gallagher,
He talks a good game but is bottom of the barrel COMMON going by your terms.
Read below and please tell me what you thought when you read that and be honest!
Although I have a good idea what you may of been thinking as you never commented on it!

Not sure if this was because u don't belive he makes that much, or because you don't believe about 50k being over poverty. Cause im right there with lovbyts,, making just under 3x that, and I live just about pay check to pay check. But that said, I consider myself successful. Because I am happy with what I do.
