    it was set up by the navy if im not mistaken. they are close. if you do go on dont download anythig and turn on noscripts. it can leak your ip. they have alot of great pdfs and downloadable books. if you do decided to download them and want to stay anonymous then scan them first, then when you go to read them turn off your interent.

    how do u turn on no scripts? i dont even know what that means LOL.. and yes i also read tor was started for the navy..

    look next to the back button, you will see the Tor logo, next to that you will see the noscripts button click it and you can change the settings if you want. by clicking it you should see it go to noscripts

    nothing resembling scripts anywhere i can find and i clicked on everything??

    plug-ins are disabled
    3rd party cookies and other tracking data restricted
    not recording browsing history or website data
    change details that distinguish me from other tor browser users

    Yea, you're really peaking my interest. I've been doing some research on this today. I assume it's more secure than say, peer block, when d/ling certain types of entertainment. I'm not talking about porn.
