    44 years old....

    my insurance will not cover most quality of life issues which is where my test is right now. not low enough to be a medical threat, not high enough to enjoy the same quality of life that I had. If money was not an object, I would fly to houston and go to the Test center there. But as insurance will not pay any of it... its not an option

    its a shame mate. if I had the money I would go private also, straight to an endo but just for a 15 min consultation they charge £150, money I cant spare at the min.......I cant comment on self medicating but if I was your age I would definitely be looking into it, your test levels will only get worse as you age. Maybe inform your doc of your plan to use clomid and ask them to keep an eye on you with regular bloods, though I don't know anything about your insurance in amercica i.e if it will affect it or not.
