MSM - Bloating?

I started taking MSM a few weeks ago and the effects were quick and pretty amazing. In the first week, my neck that has been jacked for over 20 years, started feeling better than I can ever remember. I started off taking around 6000mg a day but that was apparently WAY too much for my stomach and head to handle. Backed off to 500mg a day and have worked up to 1500mg a day and neck still feels great by my standards. One side effect that I am almost positive is from the MSM is water weight gain. I know what water weight, bloating looks like and I have put on almost 10 pounds of bloat in the last couple weeks. I plan on watching sodium more closely and keeping an eye one it. Is it likely that the bloat is part of the reason my neck feels better? Are my tendons, ligaments, cartilage swollen with water giving me a smoother range of motion? If the bloat goes away will the pain come back? Is the bloat common and or temporary or will it stop around 10 pounds? Right now if I had to choose I would prefer to be bloated and have my neck feeling good. Any ideas?

Yes started taking fvcking liquid cialis about a week ago. Starting to think that is the culprit. The weight gain before that, maybe 5 pounds, could have been from slacking I guess. Going to stop both and see if it comes off. Then start back again with the MSM. Quick 10 pound gain just caught me off guard.
