No harm is doing T only for a period of time then going then deciding later to supplement with HCG. not to worry. Ive had men do T only for almost a decade then start HCG and everything returns to normal. If your equipment works before you started treatment then HCG should restart HPTA no problem. Doctor should of asked you 3 questions and if you answer yes to any of them then HCG should be given.

1) Does testicular atrophy bother you?
2) Do you wish to keep fertility intact while on treatment?
3) Do you wish to father children while on treatment?

If you answered YES to any fo these questions and are Secondary Hypo then HCG is right for you.

Mike, I know quite few members here and friends including me that experience testicular shrinkage and never able to get them back 100%. the evidence are real, the longer you wait the longer it takes to recover, and might not recover 100%.

OP, its better to be safe than sorry, if you're experiencing shrinkage this fast, i wouldn't wait too long. just saying.

I speaking as far as long term health risks and pathology of doing T only. There is no long term damage of doing T without HCG. Dont scare this poor guy.LOL. If you find the appropriate dose of HCG your testicular size should bounce back relatively quick. Ive treated 1000s of men and my patients nor myself have ever had this issue you are talking about using the CORRECT DOSING not once. Find your appropriate dose of HCG and a good product thats where you went wrong. If currently using T and wishing to start HCG I give titrated bolus doses ED similar to a HPTA restart to kick function in for 2 weeks then slowly taper down and frequency to a tailored dose for the patient. It works fast! If you are only at 60% up your dose and frequency and/or switch to another brand of HCG.
. I have spent years cultivating the ones that I know make great product. There are many compounding pharmacies that make "not so good" HCG product that have failed every % of EXP and analysis. When you buy HCG ask for the "Certificate of Analysis" if they do there own assay that raises red flags. If they use a 3rd party like "ARL" Analytical Research Laboratories and test every batch or at least the FDA minimum of every 25 thats a great sign they make good product.
