I have decided to stop the Keto way of eating because honestly, I don't think my body is responding well to it. I'm going back to the way I was eating when I got my leanest and that was incorporating 100-150g of carbs per day. My ratio's when I got lean were 40p35c25f. I'm also thinking of tacking on 30 minutes of low intensity, zone 1 cardio after my afternoon weight session. I already do 40 mins of HIIT in the mornings on an empty stomach 5 days a week but I'm still gaining weight and there's no sign of leaning out.

This is insane. I can't keep getting bigger. I honestly thought Var was supposed to be the perfect female cutting tool. All that seems to be happening with me is gaining mass, muscle as well as fat. I have given up weighing myself because it is depressing me to see the scales going up and the last time I measured myself I had actually gained half an inch.

*Sigh*
I agree with Samson, diet is your problem. I found when cutting too much carbs I tend to keep the fat and stop putting on muscles, you really need carbs to lose fat, but clean carbs of course. rice works great for me. I like your macros of 40/35/25, I'd go even higher on protein, something like 50/30/20, and eat minimum 6 times a day, make sure don't go below 10% of your TDEE.

why 40 minutes HIIT? also not good doing HIIT on empty stomach, you should do it when you body has enough nutrients to sustain the high intensity training, doing HIIT on empty stomach that long you will eat away your muscles and hang on to the fat. 5 days a week HITT is too much IMO, it should be eod or 3 times a week. I would do 40-60 minutes low intensity walks in between when you can. and lastly limit your HIIT to 15-20 minutes.
