Despite the generally miserable world the human race has made for itself, I am still pleasantly surprised that not everything on the news is doom and gloom.

India has launched a rocket to Mars. With water there, seperating H2 and O, we could build fuel stations there. I really do think we could be on the verge of entertaining a Golden Technological Age....simply cause we'll have no choice.

The state of the world is in, financially, security wise, resource wise coupled with unpredictable climate and we'll have no choice but to fall on the power of human ingenuity.

10 years ago, would any of you have believed that you'd be carrying out mini computers with quad core processors in your pockets, in the near future? Imagine whats in store in the next 10, 20, 30 years..

30 years ago I though we would be far more advanced than we are now and by all rights we should be.

What state are we in with the climate? Do you think Mars or any planet is more stable than earth? ALL planets have either global warming or cooling. Only if it's a dead rock will the temperature stay constant. We cant stop global warming or cooling.

Best to watch discovery channel or something like that. I dont watch the news unless I'm at work then I have no choice.

Mars will be colder than us but the temperature isn't the problem, it's the lack of magnetosphere and atmosphere that makes it uninhabitable. You could in theory grow plants On mars if there is water and "grow" an atmosphere, however the process would take hundreds of years.

My wife. We got into a terrible fight yesterday. Gave each other the cold shoulder the rest of the evening and some of this morning. I was to blame but she fights dirty. It sucked. Called her this morning from work and apologized. Life's to short to fell like sh1t and be mad. She said she was sorry and things are cool. We don't fight often but when we do its world war. Plus her aunt is in town. (Nuclear War)

Lol that's how me and the gf are. We never fight..... We're both very reasonable people but I can also be stubborn. When we do argue I'm able to turn her off and not give a shit. Not a good habit at all. We both end up apologizing and everything works out fine.

My health. I saw a woman at the grocery store yesterday with shorts on which is a bit uncommon now in WI as its getting pretty cold. As I got closer I could see her legs were red and purple, swollen and she was shuffling her feet. Probably early 40s. The obstacles some people face.
