    You're crazy to touch gear of any sort in your situation. That's the best advice I can give you. Eat like a maniac, lift big weight, and eat some more. Maybe take some mutant mass.

    Almost all weight gainers are shite. Save money and make your own, healthier version. Other than that yes - eat big and lift big

    Yup, marketing hype. Mass gainers are FAT gainers. Gotta EAT big to be big.

    I don't see the problem with using a mass gainer to get in extra calories, if it fits in, nothing wrong with carb and protein supplementation after a workout or before bed

    It's as much the quality (or lack thereof) of the ingredients. Full of sugar which leads to plenty of other issues.

    Again, make your own and call it a meal replacement.

    Precisely. It's garbage in a pail. The only thing effective is the marketing behind it.

    Years ago, I fell for it too. I wouldn't use that crap for anything now.

    Check the label and the amount of sugar. Most of those mass shakes are NOT good nutrition, will spike insulin, promote fat retention and certainly are anything but healthy. Check the labels!
