$100k is not much money to raise a family on in florida area, ESPECIALLY if its a company - you would only take home a little over a $1,000 a week after pension, benefits, taxes, and union dues.....If I was single without kids, I'd take the $100k.....Otherwise, I'd go to work for someone for more $.

How does that work? I'm thinking your math is off a bit. I make a little over $100k the last 3 years and my take home is over $1500 a week after pension, benefits and tax. I know you said a little over but $500 is more than a little I think.
