2SOX when my PSA went to 4.8 my G/P sent me to a urologist. i had to go through all test B/W, ct scan of kidneys, DRE, Ultrasound of bladder.Then the scope up the penis. I will not lie to you guys that sucked. Hurt like hell. Put me on antibiotics for one month.Then retested PSA. Came down to 4.0. At this point once they feel you do not have cancer then its watch and wait. Example if my PSA went up to say 6.8 on my next exam most likely a biopsy is in order. Thats about it. Its just a number to go by. They look for a big swing in the number

I feel ya. I had a scope up there once. No problem with the procedure but the doctor neglected to tell me to drink plenty of fluids for a week to dilute the urine. As a result, every time I urinated it felt like I was pissing fire. This went on for a week or so!

I hope you feel okay. No need to tell you to keep an eye on things.
