The wife and I eat 95% organic. We cook almost everything we eat, with the exception of eating out once a month or so.
It can be more expensive than non organic, but really not that much. Grass fed beef is definitley more expensive, but well worth it.
Its the pesticides that are our biggest concern.
I have read that the biggest fear of the medical community is that we are becoming resistant to antibiotics. Here is why:
When a company like Monsanto, or Dow chemical GMO's a seed, they splice antibiotic tracers into the dna, so they can determin if it is their seed or not. These trace antibiotics in the food, are basically exposing us to antibiotics, therefore we are becoming resistant to them.
And they feed this to all of the livestock as well.
