    Rule of thumb is 1/2 your body weight in ounces is sufficient. Example: I weigh 205lbs, so I need roughly 100 oz. of water daily. This is what I would call normally active persons maintenance. Adjust accordingly to your activity level. Why are you always thirsty, what does your sodium intake look like on a daily basis?

    ^ That sodium matters alot also when I drink milk or and powder supps I m super thirsty after

    I didnt know this. Thanks. I thought that you lost weight from drinking water due to the fact that your always running to the bathroom to pee so sweating hoping you will make it to the bathroom.
