Wait, you didn't know that stimulant pre-workouts raise blood pressure? And you didn't think energy drinks did that too? You've got to be trolling us. By the way, just saying "no homo" doesn't convince us that you're not having a man-crush on your buddy.

I'm going to start a PCT of Nova in a week so not sure how thats going to effect it but over all i'm cutting all pre work out and energy drinks out of my diet and gonna keep a good eye on it and next time I cycle gonna plan it a lot better. Thanks everyone for the help.
Take your blood pressure while you're at rest. If you just came back from the gym or you've been running around or stressed out, you're not going to get an accurate reading.

I know that stuff does but didnt think ot was that big of a deal until the doctor told me I need to go on blood pressure medication immediately. Then I had the pharmacst check it the next day he told me the same thing. After that bought my own bp monitor been checking it a couple times a day. Yesterday was only a lil high, This morning was 124/79 went to the gym chilled a lil bit checked it again 122/78. Dont drink energy drinks that much dont drink coffee or soda, but I was taking pre work out everyday, over all I think im good the doctor made a really big deal about it, he even went as far as telling me if it got any higher id have to go to the ER....

Must watch the BP!!!! There is a reason hypertension is a silent killer. If you are going to cycle or use stimulants it is your obligation to understand the risks and to properly manage them. Too many guys assume steroids are benign because nothing "appears" to have happened to them. Ask yourself, how many people can you identify as having high BP, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, or are at risk for cardiac diseases just by looking at them. Unless they are morbidly obese, your answer should be NONE. You can't tell by looking at someone if they are at risk or not. Don't wait for a serious event that puts you in the ER to realize you should have been better educated.

The same can be said of any supplement at a nutrition store. Don't assume because its OTC that it is completely safe. The liver failures and deaths associated with the formerly approved OTC, OxyElite Pro serves as an example of how dangerous OTC products can be.
