				You always lose LBM on a cut, it's just unavoidable. What I mainly lost was water and fat though. I don't have my numbers with me now but if I did lose actual muscle tissue it wasn't significant enough for me to worry about or remember and to be honest I'd probably do it again. End result was just a leaner, stronger me. Calorie deficit and low hormones can make it easier to lose a lot of Muscle but it doesn't have to. I increased my protein intake slightly, cut fats a bit, and had as many carbs as my intake would allow. The carbs helped me keep my intensity higher and I attribute intensity with helping me preserve almost everything but the fat.
