All my tattoo's are scar's or I should say life scar's. The meanings are of a certain time or an event in my life/past. Ive been working on it for a few years trying to find the right artist to be able to flow with my muscle and put on my arm what I want. So yes I do have something in mind its about a journey I've had over the last 14 years emotionally.

All my tat's are covered up so I've asked work if there is going to be a problem because at certain times I need to be very professional and having sleeve wouldn't fit. But I am fine so long as I wear a long sleeve shirt which I do on certain occasions

Yes. Only one knee irritates me but I wear them on both. Feels balanced, secure and supported that way.

Feeling drained and lethargic the last couple days. Looks like it's time for some extra off days and couple weeks to pullback and deload a bit.

That's what I figured. Didn't think I would be able to do just one.

Did back today did the usual warm up. Didn't do HIT today mixed it up a bit love the HIT though.

Wide grip pd 3x sets to fail then did DD

Close grip pd 2 sets to fail 1drop

Close grip row to fail striped 1plate off each side repeated this 4 times till there was only 1 plat a side. Only stopped for about 5 sec while the plates were getting took off right down to rowing a couple of " lol

Bent over bb rows 2 sets to fail. Not a lot here as i was fvcked.

Guys i have noticed the close grip pd's give me the most burn / pump it just seems to work great compared to the other movements. When i say fail above i was only geting about 10-11 reps per set.

Been several weeks since I posted a pic. Been depressed and handt lifted much maybe two days a week. Diet is even worse...I guess I needed a break been going balls to the wall for 18 months

Down 10lbs at least...but i know i can get it back. Just need my head right first. Job has cut my pay too among other things. Down 5 reps on 315. But thats not bad for someone my size and probably next to nothing testosterone.

Today was my 1st day back in a few weeks as well. Work killed me and set me back. The break was nice tho and I felt great today. Strength was down just a bit..... Not too bad.

Question for you guys, and ive asked a similar question before.

Im wondering when do a single arm movement. For one example Db rows. How would you do your drop set.

Finish each arm then drop? Or work and drop each arm at a time.

Been killing it lately but diet isn't 100%....(wife is killing me). Took a little time as a pull back. Now back to balls to the wall, trying to get drops each set or a rp. Gets very hard as workouts go on. Today arms felt like they were going to rip out of my skin.

Marcus always do bis before tris? Or switch it up type of thing.

I've always thought hit bigger group first which is why I am asking

One is a push and the other a pull...... I wouldn't think one would affect the other too much. That's why I do back with tris and chest with bis

Definitely time to pull back. Today makes 5 days since my last session and I still can't break the fatigue and lethargy. It's been balls out sessions since the fist of the year with only a 1 week break about the mid point. Couple that with the increased work schedule and my CBS is fried. Gonna take the rest of this week off and pull back next week then decide if I need one more to deload or hit it full throttle again.

Well, I sucked it up and went down for legs anyway. It went much better than I thought and seemed to get me out of my tired malaise. Kept it simple and figured I'd take a break from squats for a change:

Extensions: 2 sets to failure. Took below pic while warming up...

Vertical press: 2 heavy to failure around 8-10 reps
Smith static lunges: 2 sets to failure around 12 reps or so
    Seated leg curls: 2 heavy
    Stiff Leg: 2 heavy
    Calf crap.

Overall a good workout and really changed my mood for the better. Then I had to cut the grass and it ruined everything......@#%$@$%@!

Finally got my right elbow working almost pain-free. I don't know how long it will last, but I tried something Docd mentioned in the workout/training forum. It is called "flossing" a muscle. It's generally done with a decent strip of compression material.
I ordered some of the material (called Voodoo floss) but tried the process out with strips of Therabands until my order gets here. Anyway, I thought I would post this up because it has provided a decent amount of relief. Back to working 10 hour shifts now, so I'm back at lifting in the morning. Since I haven't gotten in a lift recently and I was planning a pullback anyway, I believe I'll just pullback for one rotation of body parts and if all feels well, I'll jump back into beyond failure.

If anyone tries the muscle flossing thing and has success, thank Docd. He's the one that posted up the info.

Here's a copy and paste of Docd's post, Kel.

To help with your elbow woes, look into voodoo floss and Dr. Kelly Starrett. No more elbow woes/tendinitis for me

Jeez, Kel!! With quads like that I figured you cranked the lawnmower, kicked the sh!t out of it, and let momentum handle the rest?

    Much respect, man.

Ahh, felt good.to get down to the shop today. Decided to make today a.cardio session. Mainly squat thrusts and walking pushups, but it feels.good to be getting into the groove of things after being tied up w/ work. Only slight discomfort from the elbow, but the compression material came in. Going to try another "flossing" session and get ready for work.

Edit: It's been about 6 hrs. since working with the elbow. Still feels good.

I generally work one arm @ a time when drop setting, Sfla. As soon as I hit failure, I get rid of the bell I'm using and grab the bell I'm dropping to. The only caveat to this would be incline d'bell curls, d'bell skullcrushers, hammer curls, etc. I usually work both arms at the same time, but still drop immediately to the lower weight.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
