I don't think it's just that either. I think another aspect could be dietary. Some foods, like curry, gets into your system much the same as garlic, and creates an odor that emanates from your pores, your breath, and your entire body.

And then finally, different levels of personal hygiene exist culturally. When I lived in Germany back in the early 80's, it wasn't uncommon for a complete bath to occur once, maybe twice a week. The same is true in the middle east. It's a pain in the ass to make enough hot water to take a bath, so it's more a luxury than something they do daily. But with the rise of the middle class, and modern plumbing, daily bathing is becoming more common place.
very true TR. I am from middle east and back there we only took baths once a week, yea we all stunk, so nothing stood out! boy I am so glad I adopted to the American culture, and simple love being an American.

to the topic, I am not a racist but I am prejudiced.

Agree. It's how our brains work. We see patterns in a small population and make generalizations, based on these small populations/samples, and extrapolate that onto whole populations.

This can trick our brains too. Sometimes, we see patterns that really do not exist. It's our brains attempts at filling in the blanks.

Either way, biology is imperfect, but it does keep us alive for a time.......

This is SOO interesting. What your talking about is our brains natural "short cuts." The body always wants to make everything easier even the way we think. This is where stereotypes come from and it's a highly researched subject. Car dealers tAke advantage of it as well as anyone else selling a product. An example would be if your looking for something you don't know a lot about. Let's say a fishing pole but you have never been fishing. Two poles are sitting near each other and one is significantly more expensive. Your going to naturally assume the more expensive one is better and many will pick it up for this reason. The store dosent tell you it's simply painted differently. This is a legit tactic in many retailers. To answer the original question....honestly it's terrible as I am a Christian but yes I am prejudiced. I wouldn't say racist though. Life experience has made me jaded I think.
